After Christmas

I hope that Santa brought you something nice for Christmas and you weren't on the naughty list!!!  This time last year, we were snowed in here in ALABAMA but this year we received rain instead but it was still a great day.  It was on the LORD'S day and that made it even more better!  We had church services and it was great!

Now as we get ready to gear up for the NEW YEAR 2012 just remember to give GOD some Praise for allowing you to cross over into a new year and to be a witness to that.  There will be some who will start out but won't make it.  There will be lots of resolutions made by many people and some will carry through with theirs but there will be many who will have good intentions but never follow through.

I want to take this time to wish everyone of my readers/visitors a happy, prosperous and fulfilling NEW YEAR and BE SAFE!!

Christmas

As we fastly approach this Christmas holiday season let us not forget those families who are less fortunate than we are and may need a helping hand. 

Let us not forget the real reason for this holiday in that it is not in the gift giving because God gave us all the best gift of all, HIS SON, who died on Calvary for all of us so that we might have a right to the tree of LIFE!!

There are so many who feel just because they don't have money to buy gifts but failing to realize that if you celebrate Christmas for what it should be celebrated then you will find that the gift giving really don't matter as long as everyone is in good health, have a roof over their heads, food on your table, that is enough to celebrate!!!

Giving of yourself to help someone is a gift in itself although you may not realize it.

JESUS is the only reason for the season!!

My THANKSGIVING WISHES.....

As we fastly approach the THANKSGIVING holiday, please remember to give THANKS to the one who has made it possible for you to be able to see your family and friends and to share in the feast.  We ALL have something to be thankful for if nothing more than just say THANK YOU LORD that I am among the living and you spared my life one more day.  Let us also remember those who are less fortunate than we ourselves are and if you come across someone who may be hungry, offer them something to eat.  If you find someone who may be a little down, give them an encouraging word.  If you find that you are missing a loved one who may no longer be with you this THANKSGIVING season, I ask GOD to comfort you and your family at this time.  We have no control over life and death but we just have to make sure that we are ready at all times.

I challenge you to feed the hungry this season and watch how your heart feelings change.  It is such a Blessing to Bless someone else no matter in what manner we may do so.
